Setting up the scroller:
Open up Newsflash Pro...
Newsflash Pro needs to know which section/category to scroll. You can scroll a section or a category, but not both (nothing keeping you from copying NFS).
Set up to display Section content...Example: Check Section Radio and then select an item from the Section drop down list.

NS Pro for Mambo 4.5.1 picks up the link information from the
content table and dynamically builds the link based on the
id/catid etc. of a content item.
Dynamic linking is not possible with NS for 4.5 (1.0.x) versions of
Mambo. You'd need to build the link yourself, this is done by navigating
to the content item and copying the URL into your newsflash item.
