Hello Ray!

I have used your geat component Today in History v2.0 for years on my site (and manually filled the database with 2.405 records).

Now I have migrated to Joomla 1.5.6 and installed new v2.5.1. TIH component.

Is there any way of importing exsisting database from the old version? I can see that both versions are working with jos_tdihistory and jos_tdihistory_full tables in the main Joomla database. Would the exporting of these two tables from the old Joomla 1.0.x database and importing them in new Joomla 1.5.6 database work? Are there any structural changes?

I' looking forward to your reply. smiley

Also, I'm getting following error when trying to access the configuration manager:

Warning: showTDIHConfig(/home/ruzniprl/public_html/dev) [function.showTDIHConfig]: failed to open stream: No such device in /home/ruzniprl/public_html/dev/administrator/components/com_today_in_history/admin.today_in_history.php on line 770

Fatal error: showTDIHConfig() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/ruzniprl/public_html/dev' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/ruzniprl/public_html/dev/administrator/components/com_today_in_history/admin.today_in_history.php on line 770

I haven't tested this component in the new version of Joomla.

The obvious problem is that the file/directory doesn't have the correct permissions or doesn't exist. Check for existence and permissions.

Do you have the legacy mambot enabled?

Hello Ray!

I have legacy mambot enabled. The permissions set on the folder are "755". Should I change it in something else?

Maybe export sql-tables and rename the file to "tihvol001a_25.sql".
With the upload-manager, you can import your backup-sql-file.

The only problem I have is that the date is not always shown in the module. (1.58 legacy mode)
